Aims and Scope

Biological and Appliend Environmental Research is a refereed journal publishing original articles and case reports (short communications) in all disciplines of biological and environmental sciences. This journal is published twice a year (January and July) and publishes 7-12 articles in each issue, according to the priority of manuscript acceptance. The open access policy of the Biological and Applied Environmental Research (BAER) is to make research articles immediately freely available to download and share by readers. This will ensure a wide distribution of the articles.

The journal publishes contributions from all of the disciplines of biological and applied environmental sciences. Full-length contributions and reviews are published in English only. Manuscripts submitted are reviewed critically by at least two referees selected in the field of the manuscript subject. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for all decisions regarding publication and a decision will be made in consultation with an Associate Editor. Submissions must be original in that the information is not copyrighted, published or submitted elsewhere.

The journal is supervised by highly ranked scientists who have expertise in their fields of specialty. They will periodically develop the content of the journal, review, edit, and approve the technical content of the journal and write feature articles or support an existing or new section of the journal. BAER publishes articles in all field of biological and environmental sciences including taxonomy, physioology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biodiversity, limnology, marine biology, microbiology and parasitology.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial team do their best to avoid any ethical issues before publication. We also ensure that there is no conflict of interest in any article accepted for publication.
